THE FOUNDERS

Daniel and Menorah McCarty came to the Philippines with their family in l986, after previous mission's work overseas. With a great passion to win souls, their hearts were captured by the Filipino people. What began as one family's desire to help local pastors and win the lost to Christ, has expanded into a large work with twenty-four nationals serving full-time in the Philippines, Myanmar, and Thailand, along with outreaches into Vietnam and Cambodia. Daniel and Menorah are the parents of seven children, ages 29 through 16, and now reside in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Happy Family Overseas Ministry is affiliated with Christian Faith Ministries of Denton, Texas.

 

LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES

Since l986, The Happy Family Overseas Ministry has coordinated extensive leadership conferences in the Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. The results of teaching and equipping national leaders have been dramatic and extremely fruitful.

 

EVANGELISM

Daniel and his team of Film Evangelists have traveled through the Philippine Islands with generators and films and have led over 100,000 people to make decisions for Jesus Christ! These teams work with local pastors and have successfully planted new churches in remote areas.

 

BIBLE SCHOOLS

Bible Training Schools staffed by strong national leaders are located in both the Philippines and Myanmar (Burma). The one- year live-in training program includes both intensive classroom teaching of God's Word along with practical field training. We rely strongly on the ministry of the Holy Spirit. By graduation, the students' lives are transformed. Hundreds of new full-time ministers have been launched.
